At Precision Pilates we pride ourselves on having the most qualified and comprehensive team of instructors in the region. We are located in the historic Hartt Shoe Factory, built in the late 1800s and home to the Hartt Shoe Company for over a century. The studio’s exposed brick walls and abundant natural light create a warm, industrial ambiance that beautifully blends the rich history of the building with the timeless practice of Pilates—a perfect setting for a meaningful and inspiring workout.

 

Our teachers are skilled in all areas of Pilates, including Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chairs, Barrels, and all of the other equipment developed by Joseph Pilates, ensuring a well-rounded, authentic experience for every client.

 

Some of our team members hold Masters of Science in Kinesiology, or are certified Clinical Exercise Physiologists. This extensive training allows us to design safe, effective workouts tailored to individuals—whether you're recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or seeking to improve overall health.

 

We utilize the premium industry equipment available to support precise, high-quality movement. Our small class sizes enable personalised attention, ensuring each session is customised to your unique needs—even during group classes.

 

Our owner Cara, the only Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher on the east coast of Canada, brings nearly 20 years of experience and over 25,000 teaching hours, which she leverages to mentor and train the entire team at the highest standards. Our teachers begin with a rigorous 700-hour Pilates apprenticeship and ongoing professional development. Cara’s dedication to quality and her extensive education and experience ensure that our team provides safe, expert instruction tailored to your individual goals.
